Or have you seen the horror classic Psycho (1960) directed by Hitchcock, based on the novel of the same name from 1959?
I realize that Jason Todd as the psycho killer was a better fit; or Damian Wayne would be the perfect psycho prodigy; but the sixties connection from the Hitchcock movie worked for artistic and comedic purposes.
