2011 12 28. Dragon Tattoo cast on Charlie Rose.

People should stop being so close minded. Yes, the original Dragon Tattoo films are superb. But that does not mean it is sacred. Some cover songs turned out better than the originals. Give this movie a chance. David Fincher, of all directors, is not one who'd disappoint.

Three types of buffet goers:
1. Indecisive: "I don't know what I want."
2. Compulsive: "I want 'em all."
3. Intuitive: "I know what I want."
I guess that applies in real life as well.

2011 12 16. Rooney Mara, the actress.

Rooney Mara came from a wealthy family, used to go to church, never really drink, only kept one piercing, and she doesn't have a tattoo. To convince us as Lisbeth Salander, that must require a vast amount of acting skills. Brilliant.

2011 12 15. Man Up!

Man Up! is a high quality quirky comedy show that deserves a higher rating. Recent similar shows before it; The Good Guys, Breaking In, etc suffered the same fate. If it was aired on the same lineup as Modern Family and Happy Endings, this show would've been picked up for a second season. Shame on money gobbling network execs; they gotta do what they gotta do; and listening to the voice of real fans out there is not one of them.

2011 11 22. Chivalry is not for everyone.

In this age, chivalry and romantic gestures are considered creepy; unless you are superficially good looking like Edward or the shirtless wolf boy.

Worldy, Selfish Life Goals.

1. Be an influential musician (writer/performer/producer).
There's nothing else I'd rather do but music music music.
2. Write comic books & entertaining non-fictional book.
Once a nerd and always will be.
3. Become a mainstay in the movie industry (writer/actor/producer).
I love to entertain and inspire people.
4. Have my own unorthodox talk show/vlog.
It's strange knowing I don't even know how to talk to people in real life.
5. Create an affordable vintage style clothing line.
Perhaps my own thrift shop will do.
6. Open my own restaurant/food truck.
I love food. Who doesn't. Tasty food? Even better.

A self reminder of where I wanna be in my worldly future.
These may seem impossible from where I'm standing now; having no resources whatsoever; being a dead beat that I am. But my grandpa told me before he died; set your wildest dreams as wild as can be, and chase it.
Only if God grants me such rewards.

2011 09 21. Bethany Dillon.

I got a confession to make.

The year was 2004, I was 19. I swore to myself, if I ever get to be a famous, well respected musician, I would marry this girl; Bethany Dillon.

Why Beth? Because even back then when she was a 15 year old girl; she radiates a sense of peacefulness and maturity; a powerful contra to the old, boisterous Red Misery.

I know, I know, it sounded like a case of pedophilia, but we're only four years apart, calm down everyone.

7 years later, I'm still a nobody.

On the other hand, she's married, and recently gave birth to a beautiful daughter.

Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely happy for her.

One thing remains the same; I truly admire her Godliness.

I wanna be like her; closer to God, each and everyday.

Trying to finish the book of Job while applying for real jobs online.
I also wanna take music major at Biola.
And watching Aubrey Plaza's clips all over the net in between. She is one of the most interesting people in this earth. By the way, anybody else develop a crush over her?

2011 09 06.

Took Mum to the immigration center. Not a successful trip; mission not accomplished because of complications from the rules, but an okay trip nonetheless.
Then my parents took me to Hometown Buffet at 6 pm cause they know I'm fasting and I don't have money to buy anything. The result: food coma. Not a good feeling; but I'm thankful of all the food I was able to shove inside my jejunum.
A few hours after my buddy Alex took me out to In N Out Burgers and got me fries. My intestines almost erupted the very moment I downed them fries.
But again, thank God for all the food and blessings for today.

And oh, I accidentally poked my right eye with my car key.

Yes Man. Watch it once. Watch it twice. Watch it a million times.

Last night as I was about to go home from church, my sisters came by my car, hugged me and smiled at me.
Seeing people you care about smile at you just eases any kind of pain from the suffering you're going through.

That's why I took a snap every time see Allison smile as I was re-watching this movie for a millionth time.
I can't lose my optimism, under any circumstances.
Yes is the word. Yes. Say it. Yes.

2011 09 01. I don't wanna go to hell.

Last night me, Jovan and Darren were learning about punishments in hell. In 1995, 7 youths were taken to hell and back so they can witness and tell us what they saw. I can't bear the pain and anguish that these lost souls go through; it frightens me. We talked and prayed till the early morning; begged for God's mercy. Jesus paid the heavy price on the cross so we don't have to suffer in the afterlife. It's never too late, my friend. Lets inherit the kingdom of heaven.
For the suffering that we go through everyday in this cruel world is nothing compared to the condemnation of hell.

2011 08 29.

Paid the remaining debt to the auto shop.
I got all these within 2 weeks from playing for churches, helping friends and family, and a little bit from work (I don't make much money these days).

I always hated money since I was a kid. Every time I get a large sums of money (I know, $200 ain't that big to most of you, but it is for me), I'd always have to give it up, or I give it away voluntarily.

I have nothing on me now. On the bright side, I promised to pay them today, and a huge burden was lifted off my shoulders at the right time. Thank You Lord.
